My latest project... I found these bamboo shades for $12 at BigLots and I spent $3 on white acrylic paint to make the vertical lines. I used white curtains that I already had in a different room. So $15 total for this window treatment. :)

St. Patrick's Day...

The kids had a fun St. Patrick's Day at school but tonight they were so afraid of leprechauns that they all slept together in Erin's bed. David slept on the outside edge with a ballpoint pen in his hand so he could protect the girls and stab any leprechauns that came near. I also had to spray a perimeter of anti-leprechaun spray (glade air freshener) for peace of mind :)

Happy Birthday David!

David turned 4 this week! He had cupcakes and pizza on his birthday. And a couple of days later we went to Chuck E Cheeses!

Happy Halloween 2009!

We went to Spanish Fork to trick or treat again this year... Here the kids are outside of Uncle Edgar and Aunt Liliana's house...



This was the line at the Krispy Kreme house. Each child received a 12 count box of donuts! Word sure travels fast, huh?

tree climbing...

We went for a walk the other day and Erin tried climbing her first tree. It was so cute how proud she was of herself. And when she said her prayers that night she thanked Heavenly Father for helping her climb the tree.


Since I had the camera with us, I made the kids do a mini fall photo shoot. Here are some of the pics of the kids who were totally not in the mood to get their pic taken. I did get a few good ones though...
